PHY 110 - General Physics II 4 cr. Included in this calculus‐based course are such topics as thermodynamics, electricity, magnetism, and physical and geometric optics. In the laboratory, students learn techniques for investigating physical phenomena and reporting with reasoned numerically‐based analysis. Computer and calculator skills are required. 3 hrs. lect.; 4 hrs. lab and recitation. Prerequisite: PHY 109 with a grade of C or better. Corequisite: MAT 180 .
