Program Description
The Microcredential in Customer Service, with a focus on hospitality, developed with local community partnership, consists of five courses within the AAS in Business and Entrepreneurial Studies degree program:
BUS 161 Principles of Management OR BUS 115 Entrepreneurship
BUS 171 Computer Applications in Business (Microsoft Office) OR BUS 102 Business Math
BUS 104 Business Communication
BUS 270 Special Topics in Business: Customer Service
BUS 293 Business Internship
This microcredential, earned after student demonstration of proficiency in customer service skills, recognizes the achievement of competencies that have validity with employers. It is not registered with the State Education Department, but serves as institutionally recognized portable evidence of student mastery of these competencies and skills.
