SGN 116 - Intermediate Sign Language II 3 cr. A continuation of SGN 115 , students develop advanced American Sign Language comprehension and production skills. Students compare and contrast similarities and unique differences between English and ASL to increase communication competence. Using panel discussions and interactive role playing, students continue to increase both their receptive and expressive skills. Students may repeat SGN 116 for credit. The College’s repeat course policy as outlined in this catalog does not apply to SGN 116 . Prerequisite: Completion of SGN 115 with a grade of C+ or better or by advisement. Fall
