Students will explore Music Therapy, including its history, development, and core concepts, focusing on how it aids personal growth and positive change. The course will cover Music Therapy from various perspectives-research, psychological theory, spirituality, philosophy, and neurology. It will challenge the view of music in clinical settings as mere recreation, showing instead how it enhances communication, social interaction, self-esteem, and well-being. Case studies with video and audio will highlight the profound impact of Music Therapy on the human spirit.
