VTS 259 - SUNY Delhi Farm Camp 1 cr. This lecture-format class will present an overview of entry level background information to assist and enable the student to understand and participate in a modern veterinary practice serving farm animals. It will also enable the student to understand basic diseases of farm animals and the common methods used to prevent those diseases. Basic husbandry techniques commonly employed by enterprises which use farm animals for profit will also be covered.
Prerequisite: VTS 111, 148, 149, 150, 151, 152, 155, 159 and by advisement only. Corequisite: VTS 264
