ENG 223 - Introduction to Poetry 3 cr.

Introduction to Poetry is a representative study of poetic forms and poetry from around the world. Through a close examination of the poetry, we will explore the evolution of poetic form, literary movements, and the wide range of themes addressed through poetry. As we examine each work, we will be analyzing their historical, cultural, and social influences Prerequisite: ENG 102 with a grade of C or better and LIB 111 or by permission of instructor.
