ENG 222 - Introduction to African Literature 3 cr.

This course will survey African literature through short stories, poetry, drama, music, folktales and film. Students will examine African literature from pre‐colonial, colonial to post colonial times. Students will be able to recognize the rich contributions of African authors. Prerequisite: ENG 102 with a grade of C or better and LIB 111 or by permission of instructor.
