* World Language Elective: Students who take one 200-intermediate level foreign language satisfy their foreign language requirement. They may then substitute any humanities elective course in place of the second foreign language.
**Students who take GEG 101 may not take ESC 101 as their natural science elective because of overlapping course content.
Minimum grades for New Paltz: B in ENG 101 & 102; C in PSY 200, MAT 140 & 240, GEG 101, EDU 203, and foreign language, B- in EDU 200 & 201 ***By advisement, education majors may select from ENG 214, ENG 222, or PHI 216.
