CIS 123 - Introduction to Word Processing for Windows 1 cr. Using a hands‐on approach, students develop word processing skills in creating and editing documents, formatting documents, creating tables in a document, merging documents, arranging text and graphics, and automating document creation. This course does not satisfy any requirements for students in the Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or Network Administrator programs. The course is taught using Microsoft Word for Windows software. The course may be taken on an audit or a satisfactory/unsatisfactory basis. Prerequisite: CIS 120 or equivalent computer experience or by advisement. Not offered at this time.
