ENR 108 - Introduction to Engineering Design: Robotics II 1 cr.

This course introduces students to engineering design through a series of hands-on projects involving mostly six-axis robots. The course covers various aspects of robot programming and operation with the goals of learning to instruct the robots to perform tasks, like machine tending, and to interact with each other. Kinematics and inverse kinematic principles will be covered as well as some of the physics of robot limitations. While students will learn some specific skills regarding how to operate, program, and program the robots, the emphasis of the course will be on solving engineering problems.

Pre and/or Corequisite: ENR 105  and MAT 115   Semester(s) Offered: Fall or Spring
