CDC 221 - Chemical Dependency Individual and Family Counseling II 3 cr. The Chemical Dependency Individual and Family Counseling course is a study of theories and practices related to the family dynamics involved when a member has an alcohol and/or substance abuse problem. The focus is placed on therapeutic techniques designed to facilitate effective intervention strategies for individuals within the family system. This course is intended for students in the Chemical Dependency Counselor (CDC) program and all students interested in the family dynamics in alcohol and chemical dependency. Pre and/or Corequisite: CDC 113 and HUS 103
