ART 110 - 20th Century Art History 3 cr.

This course will survey the major avant-garde artists and movements from Europe and the United States in the 20th Century. Our focus will be almost exclusively visual art, with occasional forays. Lectures and discussions will provide the social, economic, political, and aesthetic context for each stage of our study. Semester(s) Offered: Fall, Spring, Summer
