ENR 110 - Engineering Programming 3 cr. This course covers the use of the personal computer as an analysis tool in engineering calculations. Students will study internal data representation (binary, hexadecimal, and ASCII codes), structured algorithm design, and numerical analysis methods. Vector operations and matrix manipulation will be emphasized. Class assignments will consist of writing code statements in higher‐level languages to instruct the PC to solve particular problems. The principles of compilers, branching, recursive programs, functions, subroutines, and global storage are included.
