SOC 206 - Social Problems 3 cr.


Students use a sociological perspective to critically analyze how social issues and problems are developed and changed. This course focuses on such topics as crime and violence, racial and ethnic inequality, gender inequality, aging, employment, poverty, healthcare, and drug and alcohol use. Prerequisite: SOC 101 .
