ENG 216 - Science Fiction Masterpieces 3 cr.

This course explores the nature and development of science fiction as an independent and vital part of literature and as a comment on the nature of humanity and its relationship with both the world and the great unknown. Representative authors may include Shelley, Verne, Wells, Bradbury, Clarke, Huxley, Miller Jr., and Dick.
